This Singapore MRT map in Tamil is the full system map with station names in Tamil script. Tamil is one of Singapore’s four official languages, widely spoken within the Indian community and taught in schools across the country.
Tamil ranked third among languages most commonly spoken at home in the 2020 Singapore Census, with about 3.2% of residents (citizens and permanent residents) using it as their primary household language. Many other Singaporeans also speak it as a second language.
Why an MRT map in Tamil helps
Tamil is one of Singapore’s four official languages, alongside English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese, and it appears on station signs throughout the MRT and LRT network. A Tamil map helps Tamil speakers in Singapore, and visitors from India and Sri Lanka, find their way in the script they read most comfortably. Most station names are written phonetically in Tamil script, so they sound close to the English names.
If you are heading to Little India, use Little India station (NE7/DT12), an interchange between the North East Line and the Downtown Line, or Farrer Park (NE8) one stop north. Line colours and station codes are identical to the English MRT map, so NE7 is Little India on every version. The PDF map, Chinese and Malay versions are also available.

For the official version, see the LTA rail network map.
