Samudera LRT Station
Samudera LRT station (PW4) is a stop on the West Loop of the Punggol LRT, serving the northern part of Punggol in north-eastern Singapore. Like every station on this line, it sits on an elevated viaduct, so passengers reach the platforms by going up from street level rather than down. Trains on the line are driverless and run on a fixed guideway above the roads and housing blocks below.

The station is used mainly by people living in the surrounding Punggol estates, who rely on it for short hops around the West Loop and for the ride to Punggol station, where the two LRT loops meet and passengers can change to the North East Line. It also serves shoppers heading to Northshore Plaza I, a shopping mall just a minute’s walk away, and visitors to Marina Country Club, which the station was opened to serve.
History of Samudera LRT station
Samudera opened on 31 March 2017, almost three years after the West Loop itself began carrying passengers in June 2014. At first, West Loop trains ran in only one direction depending on the time of day, which could mean a longer journey around the loop for some trips. Services in both directions started on 29 September 2018 in response to rising ridership, making journeys from this station more direct.

Trains calling here are automated Crystal Mover vehicles, and the line has run two-car trains since December 2016 to cope with growing passenger numbers. A new fleet of 25 two-car trains entered service in 2025, so passengers are increasingly likely to board a newer, longer train.

Northshore Plaza I is about 80 m away and Northshore Plaza II about 230 m away, both within an easy walk for groceries and meals.
