Oasis LRT Station
Oasis LRT station (code PE6) is a stop on the East Loop of the Punggol LRT, the driverless light rail network that runs through the Punggol district of Singapore. The whole line is built on an elevated viaduct, so you board the trains from a platform above street level rather than underground. The East Loop is one of two loops on the Punggol LRT, and both meet at Punggol station.

The station mainly serves people who live in the housing estates around it. Most use it for short hops along the loop, either to reach neighbouring estates or to get to Punggol station. From there they can switch to the West Loop or transfer to the North East Line of the MRT for journeys elsewhere in Singapore. Because the trains run on their own guideway, they are not affected by road traffic, which makes the trip to the interchange predictable.
History of Oasis LRT station
When the East Loop started carrying passengers on 29 January 2005, this stop was one of two that stayed closed, and it remained shut for more than two years. It finally opened on 15 June 2007, after residents in the area asked for it to be brought into service. At first, East Loop trains ran in only one direction at a time, following the main flow of commuters, and services in both directions only began in 2011. Two-car trains were introduced on the East Loop on 29 December 2016 to cope with growing ridership.

Trains calling at Oasis LRT station are automated Crystal Mover vehicles made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and there is no driver on board. A new fleet of 25 two-car trains entered service in 2025. These replaced the line’s remaining single-car trains along with some of the older two-car sets, giving the line a more modern fleet.
For residents and visitors, Oasis LRT station is a convenient starting point for everyday errands and time outdoors. Gourmet Paradise, a food centre, is about 60 m away, roughly a one-minute walk, so it is easy to grab a meal on the way home. Common Green, a park about 150 m from the station, is a two-minute walk. Around five minutes away on foot you will find both Happy Hawkers and My Waterway@Punggol, a park suited to an evening stroll. For shopping, Punggol Plaza is about 880 m away, a walk of around 14 minutes. Punggol New Market and Punggol Regional Library are also within a 20-minute walk.
