Travelling from Buangkok, you can head south along the North East Line towards Hougang, which sits one stop away and offers no interchange connections itself, or continue further into the city towards Dhoby Ghaut. Heading north, the next stop is Sengkang, where you can change onto the Sengkang LRT, making it easy to reach the wider Sengkang new town. Buangkok station itself is not an interchange, so all connections must be made at other stations along the line.
