Teck Lee LRT Station
Teck Lee LRT station is an elevated stop on the West Loop of the Punggol LRT, where it carries the station code PW2. It runs alongside Sentul Walk in the northern part of Punggol, near the waterfront area around Punggol Coast. Like every other stop on the Punggol LRT, it is operated by SBS Transit.

The main users are students and staff going to the Punggol campus of the Singapore Institute of Technology, and commuters changing to buses at Punggol Coast Bus Interchange. History of Teck Lee LRT station
Teck Lee opened to passengers on 15 August 2024, nearly two decades after its structure was completed in 2004. It stayed closed while the land around it was developed, and after Samudera began operating in 2017 it was the only Punggol LRT stop still waiting to open. In May 2024 the Singapore Institute of Technology briefly said on its website that the station would open in August, then removed the mention because the details had not been finalised. The official announcement followed in July, which allowed the station to open in time for the university’s new Punggol campus in September.
Inside Teck Lee LRT station
The station has lifts, wider fare gates for wheelchair users and tactile flooring to guide passengers with visual impairments from the entrance to the platform. Fixed half-height barriers line the platform edges. They were installed in December 2017, as they were at other LRT stations, and are used instead of sliding screen doors because the platforms are narrow and the LRT signalling differs from the MRT’s. There are two exits, both leading towards the campus, the bus interchange and the waterfront.
For most people, Teck Lee LRT station is the nearest rail stop for a meal, a bus connection or a day out by the water. Punggol Coast Hawker Centre is about a four-minute walk away and is the closest place for an inexpensive meal. Families with young children can reach Splash @ Kidz Amaze, a water play area, in around five minutes, and Punggol Coast Bus Interchange is a similar distance for onward bus journeys. The Singapore Institute of Technology campus is roughly an eight-minute walk. For shopping, Waterway Point is about 14 minutes away on foot, and Northshore Plaza I and II are closer, at around 11 and 13 minutes.
