From Khatib station to Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise
At Khatib, leave the station and follow the signs for the Mandai Khatib Shuttle stop, which is a short walk from the exit. The shuttle costs a few dollars per trip, payable by contactless card or the same card you used on the MRT, and takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes to reach the parks. The Zoo, River Wonders and Night Safari share one entrance area, and Bird Paradise is a few minutes further along the Mandai road with its own stop.
Tips for the trip
- Night Safari opens in the evening, so plan the return trip: the last shuttle and the last North South Line trains from Khatib both run before midnight, and taxis from Mandai are scarce late at night.
- Bus 138 from Ang Mo Kio interchange is a normal public bus with a distance fare, useful if you are already on the North South Line south of Khatib.
- From Choa Chu Kang (NS4) bus 927 also reaches Mandai, which is handy from the west.
- Bird Paradise moved to Mandai in 2023. The old Jurong Bird Park is closed, so do not travel to Boon Lay for it.
